Age: 30yrs
Occupation: Content Strategist

Describe to us your typical day at work:
I wake up in the morning and check my phone for any pending messages and new emails (nature of my job !). This is a recurring theme for the whole workday as things in the digital space tend to be so fast paced! I go ahead and schedule posts for the clients and go handle community management. I also work closely with my colleagues in client
management and creatives to make sure everything is aligned. Depending on the day, there may be a
digital strategies or research I have to do for current client account or a new client account.

What are you passionate about?
Other than my work, I enjoy fragrances and the art of perfumery, I’m starting to become an avid collector because they give me so much joy and pleasure. I am also very passionate about overall wellness: Fitness, skincare, nutrition and self-care, they play such a huge role in one’s health all around. One might not be able to tell that I’m a massive nerd because I am also very passionate about comic books, cartoons, psychology and astronomy as well!

What do you see as the role of a woman in society?
As women, we tend to carry the society on our backs due to our ability to be nurturers to the point where we forget about ourselves most times. We also work hard every day and manage to integrate our work and family life in a modern world just to make sure everyone thrives and is happy. We are the unsung heroes and I don't think enough good things can be said to fully appreciate how hard we work every single day and still manage to pull
through in such a male-centric world. Women are irreplaceable.

Tell us where you see yourself in 5 years?
I will have my own 2/ 3 businesses and can finally be able to travel this vast world and drink wine at noon if I want to!

How can women support each to grow?
Contrary to folklore, more women than not support each other! We empathize with each other because we have most likely experience the same things as we live through life. Helping younger women in the office with advice when navigating through the workplace, sharing tips when it comes to business, supporting women-founded businesses and even showering each other with compliments. Being your sister’s keeper: That’s how we’ll help each othergrow!
